Analysis of Performance
Analyzing overall performance of a certain program is key when seeing if it benefits the public. As time moves forward, some practices and policies may become obsolete. It is up to the public administrator or elected officials to evaluate these programs to see if they are outdated and need an update. Within this work sample, the efficiency of certain municipalities and their programs are looked at. In addition to that, this sample also talks about the shortcomings within these governments and why having a better bureaucratic system may have aided in a better result.

Ethics should be looked at as the foundation to public service. As a public administrator, it is important that ethics are always looked at in order to protect the very people organizations want to serve. In this work sample, the DNC email scandal of 2016 is looked at in depth and explains the problems with a lack of trust and transparency. As an elected official, it is important to have the trust of those you are serving. Those people are the very same that end up voting you into a position or taking you out of one.
